AN ORMOLU-MOUNTED SEVRES STYLE 'JEWELLED' COBALT-BLUE GROUND THREE-PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE, LATE 19TH CENTURY



clock of scrolled double-bracket form, surmounted with an covered urn-shaped vase, lion mask terminals and heart-shaped handles, centered in a gilt cartouche is a single putti on a bed of roses amongst the clouds, the shaped-rectangular enamelled clock-face with Roman Numerals, seated below and maiden and a putti above them cupid fires an arrow, flanked by berried laurel garlands, gilt and jewelled with stylized flower heads and a trumpet-shaped flower heads and foliate scrolls, on eight feet, four of which moulded with acanthus and berries, accompanied by two tapering square sectioned four-light candelabras applied with ormolu ram's head terminals suspending tasselled swags, atop rectangular leaf-molded supports with scrolled bracket feet, glass backplate revealing interior the movement with partial stamp for Japy Freres, MED.(AILLE) D'Honneur and numerals 1531; height of clock: 51 cm (20 1/8 in.), height of candelabras: 64.5 cm (25 3/8 in.)

CONDITION
The garniture appears in age-appropriate condition. Overall surface dust and discoloration visible to the naked eye. The clock is not accompanied by a winding key.
