Museum Series Portfolio. Classic Images. 1924-1936
Moscow and Los Angeles/New York: Rodchenko/Stepanova Archives and Schickler Lafaille, 1994. Thirty gelatin silver prints, printed later by Alexander Lavrentiev and Yuri Plaskin. With separately bound catalog numbered inside the clamshell, 24pp, including essays by Lavreniev and John Bowlt, and thumbnail images of each of the 30 prints, along with full cataloguing. Also including a 4 page title page insert with publishing information and a list of the plates. On the verso of each sheet a label with plate number and Portfolio number.  This volume numbered HC8 in an edition of thirty-five.

Varying dimensions of the prints, ca. 24 x 17 cm (9 1/2 x 6 3/4 in.), the sheets ca. 44 x 34 cm (17 3/8 x 13 3/8 in.), the original clamshell case with embossed titles on the cover and spine, measuring 48 x 40 x 6 cm (18 7/8 x 15 3/4 x 2 3/8 in.)

Varying dimensions from 6 1/4 x 8 3/4 in. (15.9 x 22.2 cm) to 9 1/2 x 7 1/8 in. (24.1 x 18.1 cm) or the reverse. Colophon. Silkscreen portrait of Rodchenko and facsimile signature affixed to the portfolio case interior. The original clamshell case with embossed titles on the cover and spine, measuring 48 x 40 x 6 cm (18 7/8 x 15 3/4 x 2 3/8 in.).

- All items must be paid for before they can be released.
- Clients are free to choose their own shippers, and these recommendations are provided only for convenience. We will not accept liability for any recommendations of shippers.
- The purchaser is responsible for insuring their items in transit. Once items have been picked-up or released to a shipper, they are no longer covered under our insurance.
- Payment for shipment and arrangements for shipment, must be made with the shipper directly. Please feel free to ask for competitive shipment quotes pre or post-auction by referring to the auction date and lot number, when contacting the recommended shippers.
