An identical tapestry is in the collection of the Kulturhistorisches Museum in Magdeburg, inv. no. Te 136(R) (Sabine Schwarz, Gewebte Kunst aus Flandern. Vier historische Tapisserien aus der Textilsammlung des Kulturhistorischen Museums Magdeburg (Magdeburger Museumshefte 8), Magdeburg, 1988, 48-54). The catalogue note to the Sotheby's description notes four of the six recorded episodes from this series that are known to have survived: the Triumphal Procession, the Banquet, the Sacrifice by Perseus, and the present subject.
