GESSEN, Vladimir Iosifovich (Russian, 1901-1982) was a journalist and a publicist. He immigrated to Finland in 1919, then moved to Germany and then to France. After relocating to the U. S. in 1946 he spent many years working as a part of the editorial board of the newspaper Novoye Russkoye Slovo
