Of bombe form, the body extensively decorated with an intricate chased pattern, the top panel with a central field of translucent cobalt blue enamel over a chased ground with bouquets of roses in each of the four corners, surrounded by a black and gold champleve enamel border, the cover set with a hinged medallion depicting a flirtatious trio in a country setting, wind-up key and a lever on the side of the box activate a feathered singing bird, length: 10.7 cm (4 1/4 in.)
