the cup with a band of hand-painted mauve sweet-pea flowers and green ivy on white ground, bordered by a gilded band of oak leaves and branches, the top edge with a celestial blue glaze, the saucer with conforming decoration, the interior cup walls fully gilded, height of cup: 7.5 cm (3 in.), diameter of saucer: 14.5 cm (5 3/4 in.), each marked with an underglazed green Imperial cypher of Alexander II
