each miniature lighter of cylindrical form, one in yellow gold without ornament and fitted with a sterling silver mechanism, English hallmarks dating it to 1932, numbered 9723, stamped JC for Jacques Cartier, height: 3.2 cm (1 1/4 in.); the other lighter with fuchsia champleve enamel on bronze ground, the cover mounted with lapis lazuli and a faceted peridot, marked Cartier, accompanied by the original case, height: 3.8 cm (1 1/2 in.); overall weight: 39.6 g.
